construction partner of choice
Drawing on Barclay Mowlem's fifty-year history and supported by our international group-wide capability, Laing O'Rourke continues to contribute to the building and infrastructure development of Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
At Laing O'Rourke we believe that our leading-edge processes set us apart from the rest of the construction industry. We have developed ways of making significant improvements to the delivery and cost of construction, rethinking the way in which the professional team, the supply chain and constructor work together.
We understand each sector, each project and each client has its own unique and specific requirements. That's why we provide tailored and flexible solutions for our clients, allowing them to select the best approach for delivering their project.
ALLIANCE CONTRACT
By teaming with Laing O'Rourke in an Alliance Contract, our clients are assured that an environment valuing teamwork, innovation and performace, will be fostered from the outset of the project. In this contractual framework, the client and contractor work as an integrated team and commercial interests are aligned. The alliance team undertakes to work cooperatively, on the basis of sharing project risk and reward, and for the purpose of achieving 'best-for-project' outcomes.
COST REIMBURSABLE PERFORMANCE INCENTIVE (CRP) CONTRACT
In a CRPI Contract, client and contractor goals become aligned. Specific client objectives, including project savings, safety, quality, community relations, environment management and project programme become the main objectives for the project team. By setting specific targets and rewarding performance, we work with our clients to achieve optimum performance and success. A sharing in under-runs measured against target estimates gives further incentive for our team to remain focussed on innovation and delivery of new industry benchmarks.
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT CONTRACT
By engaging us in a Design and Construct role, our clients leverage the expertiese of our experienced design managers, who incorporate "buildability" and "operability" in their design review process to achieve best value for money.
A Design and Construct delivery process provides the right environment for proactive problem solving and value engineering, and aligns the team to deliver optimum project outcomes. Inventiveness is encouraged throughout the duration of the project, allowing the client to benefit in relation to time and cost saving, and improved facility operation and maintenance.
TRADITIONAL CONTRACT
Working within specific parameters, innovation is applied to improve costs, programme and/or serviceability of infrastructure. Sound planning on all projects is key to providing a structured, documented and monitored approach to all projects. We also offer alternative designs, building materials and products to our clients so they can benefit from potential cost savings or improvements to the project timetable.
